Corsair Cove Deeds Guide: Principle Points, Compass & Tips

Corsair Cove Deeds Guide explains the four paths, Principle Points, Compass unlocks, and practical objectives without promising a fixed best order.

What are Corsair Cove Deeds?

Corsair Cove Deeds are progress objectives tied to the work you do while building a pirate haven. The official material groups them across construction, production, crew, events, fleet actions, and Seven Seas activity. Completing one awards a Principle Point for the Deed’s path, so the Deeds screen connects ordinary settlement tasks to Compass progression.

Read the current objective before changing your layout. A Deed may ask for an output total, an efficient route, a crew type, a building count, an event, or a sea action. The official list is version-sensitive, and wording or later ranks that are not visible in the captured material are To be confirmed.

What are the four Deeds paths?

Every Deed belongs to Notoriety, Empire, Seafaring, or Wealth. Those are the same four Principle Paths shown by the Compass: Notoriety north, Empire east, Seafaring south, and Wealth west. The official ship material associates them with Prowlers, Destroyers, Hunters, and Reavers, but each path also contains settlement and production objectives.

PathTypical objective areas in the captured list
NotorietyCohesion, pirate population, food and drink output, efficient routes, crew, events, and Smuggling Runs.
EmpireCrown Ports, Pitch, Pirate Camps, elevators, Rum, Medicine, crew, events, and defensive buildings.
SeafaringMasts, whales, merchant ships, sunken ships, fleet size, Seven Seas regions, ship tiers, and sea events.
WealthWarehouses, Aerial Lifts, trade-facing buildings, Booze, Fittings, Treasure Caves, events, and crew.

These examples describe the captured objective text, not a mandatory route. Choose objectives that fit the haven you already have instead of forcing a path because a community video calls it the best option.

How do you earn and spend Principle Points?

Complete a Deed to receive one point associated with that Deed’s path. A Notoriety point advances Notoriety Compass entries; it is not a general point that can be moved into Empire, Seafaring, or Wealth. Keep the path label visible when deciding whether an objective is worth prioritising.

The Compass spends those points on buildings, boosters, ships, and other upgrades. Its captured tier table shows 0 points for Tier 1, then 3, 7, 12, and 20 for later rings; Tier 6 ship rows show 30 points. A path ship must also be unlocked to open the next tier. Exact UI claim wording, hidden prerequisites, and later balance changes are To be confirmed.

For the full objective tables, open the Corsair Cove Deeds list. For the path structure and hybrid ships, open Corsair Cove Principle Paths. The new Compass unlocks page keeps thresholds and ship names separate from this strategy overview.

How should you track a Deed?

Open the Deeds tab and read several entries before placing a major building. Pin a practical objective when the interface offers a pin control, then check the relevant counter after each meaningful action. This is useful for production totals, building counts, efficient routes, fleet size, or event progress because the target stays connected to your normal settlement work.

Group compatible work instead of treating each counter as an isolated grind. A production objective can progress while you supply upkeep, a route objective can progress while you connect a new camp, and a ship objective can align with an expedition you already need. Do not damage housing, staffing, storage, or ship upkeep just to move a single counter.

The captured material indicates that Deeds can be completed in flexible order and that several objectives can be active at once. Exact activation limits, claim interactions, and whether every version uses the same tracking controls are To be confirmed from the current game UI.

What is a safe Deeds strategy?

Start with the objectives that match your next bottleneck. If the settlement is separated by cliffs, a route or movement objective may align with an Elevator, Zip Line, or Aerial Lift; if a ship tier is the next goal, check the construction and upkeep chain before spending points. The point of the strategy is to reduce rework, not to promise one path order.

Use events and sea encounters only when the ship is ready. Compare the event’s visible requirements with the ship’s Health, Crew, Supplies, captain, and specialist needs. The collected videos provide examples of choosing events because they also advance Deeds, but those choices are player commentary and do not establish a universal priority.

Treat temporary construction tactics cautiously. A community video shows placing structures for a construction-count objective and later deleting them, but refund rules, costs, and unlock behaviour can change. That tactic is To be confirmed for a later build and should never replace a save backup or a stable settlement plan.

What should you avoid assuming?

Do not treat a later-rank number as a reward amount. In the official list, later columns are objective thresholds, while the Deeds overview describes the path point as the reward relationship. Do not infer an exact ship unlock or booster effect from a player-made checklist when the official Compass row is blank or marked ?.

Do not call one path the best overall path. A Wealth opening may suit trade or storage, Empire may suit industrial or defensive needs, Seafaring may suit fleet progress, and Notoriety may suit a haven focused on social or Prowler options. The correct choice depends on visible objectives, terrain, production, and the fleet you can actually supply.

What is confirmed and what remains unknown?

The collected official sources support the four paths, path-specific Principle Points, the Deeds-to-Compass loop, the objective categories, the Compass tier gates, and the listed regular and hybrid ship relationships. Community guides and videos add practical sequencing examples but do not prove a fixed build order, a universal best ship, or patch-proof exploits.

Exact rank availability, reward text beyond the associated point, current threshold changes, event bonuses, refund behaviour, and version-specific Deed wording are To be confirmed whenever they are not shown by the current game panel or an updated official page. Primary references are the official Deeds, List of deeds, and Compass pages.
